We are making BilAI the world’s most discoverable, interconnected and reusable body of research.

BilAI KG connects findings with their evidence, methods, resources and people. Explore the project, meet the team and see how we contribute to the future of dissemination.

We’re building BilAI KG to make BilAI’s leading research easier to discover, understand and reuse. It connects research questions and findings with the publications, methods, tools, projects and people behind them.

“What if we turned the full content of research papers into knowledge graphs?”

BilAI KG lets researchers trace ideas across projects, compare approaches and find work that conventional and agentic searches can miss. Researchers and developers can query its open graph data, run their own analyses and build new applications. Links to other research graphs connect BilAI’s work with research elsewhere, while science communication brings it to new audiences.

The BilAI Advisory Board’s message projected at the retreat in Graz: “More large, joint, visible research spanning many of us is needed!”

BilAI KG was part of the Research Retreat in Graz.

The BilAI Research Retreat took place at TU Graz from 5–7 November 2026. A workshop on 7 November focused on BilAI KG and knowledge graph embeddings.

BilAI KG also provides a testbed for embeddings, symbolic methods and new applications built on research knowledge. Natural-language and SPARQL queries offer ways to explore connections across papers. Provenance, revisions and temporal information help establish where an answer comes from, what has changed and when a finding applies. Recommendations are one part of this work. They should encourage unexpected connections, bring valuable earlier work back into view and help researchers get noticed without requiring a long publication record.

We are building BilAI KG together.

Daniel Dobriy leads the project and coordinates its development. Diego Rincon-Yanez works on embeddings and grounding for the knowledge graph.

Axel Polleres, a BilAI Key Researcher, provides academic coordination alongside expertise in querying, reasoning and Semantic Web technologies. Miguel Vázquez contributes to the schema, embeddings and agents.

Mena Leemhuis works on the schema and symbolic approaches. Alexander Prock contributes to discussions on the knowledge graph’s construction methodology.

Vishal Nair combines work on embeddings with science communication. Frederik Bauer focuses on agents for constructing and enriching the knowledge graph.

The team works across Dobriy AI, Vienna University of Economics and Business and Johannes Kepler University Linz. Profiles and contact details are on the team page.
